| I sometimes think it is a loss to us ladies that we no longer wear these big wonderful hats. I think they used to call them "picture hats" because the whole confection framed a lady's face.
This lady is looking off to her left. Her pretty bow matches her amazing hat. She is charming.
The colors in the hat are unexpected but they work very well.

| I wanted to call this design "Stalking". The cat is licking his lips, all set to go but I just could not do it. Needlepoint is not supposed to be about Cats stalking little creatures (of course they do but...). Needlepoint is supposed to be "nice".

| These 3 cute cats are standing up behind 3 pumpkins. I can't imagine they are inside them. I know my cat would not get inside a carved pumpkin, absolutely not.

| I am not sure if I should call this the "companion canvas" to Patt & Lee's wonderful 15 Dogs in 15 Colors canvas, which is also listed here, or call it the Cat Lover's Version.
I think I am going to go with door #2. This is another of Patt's excellent Scrap Thread Designs. As with the similar 15 Dogs design you are absolutely not tied to the colors Patt has used.

| The moment I saw Patt's new Scrap Thread design I know I wanted to call it 15 Dogs 15 Colors. This is a slightly smaller Scrap Thread canvas than usual. The design area measures 7 X 7 inches. The entire canvas is 12 X 12 inches. it is 16 mesh, which has become my favorite mesh size. Not too small, not too big.

| This is another of Patt & my adaptations of one her designs. I call this one Cats "Spooning" on the Roof under the Moonlight. It was my idea to add the line from the famous Beatles Song to this adorable design. I think it works.
This canvas is suitable for a beginner to stitch, using the simplest of the possible stitches. it could also be stitched by a more advanced needlepointer with the additional of some more complex decorative stitches.
