| This is a lovely hand painted large needlepoint kit from Danji Designs. This the kind of needlepoint I love to stitch, lots of color and pattern and little background.
The design area is 14 X 13.75 inches. The entire canvas measures 18.75 X 18.24, it is 13 mesh.
There are 19 colors in this design. The 13 mesh canvas needs a thicker floss or wool for proper coverage but I wanted to do this kit with DMC Perle Cotton Floss.

The inspiration for this design is an Antique Wood Block Print. I had no idea how this design would look when stitched, really. I don't have the time to stitch most of the designs I do, so I visualize them stitched. I always liked this design but even so......When I saw the Antique Wood Block Peony stitched I was floored, for lack of a better word.

| Valentine's Days is coming and I am thinking of hearts. Surprisingly I have more then a few Heart design needlepoints right now. I think it is time to list them.
This Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvas does have a name and a designers name (I think). I did not note them down before I hemmed this canvas. As best I can tell, this was called "sweet hearts" but the designer's name is unreadable.

| I am quite "taken" with Jane Wheeler's wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Designs. Her colors are excellent and I always find her designs to be cheerful for lack of a better word. This is a beginner level design of 4 Tulips, in 4 boxes, each in different colors.

I think it is beautiful, for beginners or not, the colors are lovely. This is a small needlepoint canvas, the design area is 6 X 6 inches.
