NewNeedlepoint.com has been open almost 2 years now. There have been many changes as I find my “spot” in the on-line needlepoint community.
NewNeedlepoint.com specializes in books, both new and used books. The needlepoint and Bargello Needlepoint book categories are extensive. Many of the books here are rare, some are quite rare and all have reviews I have written.
There are pictures of all the books. I find a picture of the cover sometimes tells you more about a book then any review can.
All the used/rare books have pictures of the book cover or dust jacket plus a picture of the inside pages so you can see the condition of the books for yourself.
I know it is a given in the used book market that you keep the dust jacket, no matter the condition but I find many good or very good condition books inside terrible and dirty dust jackets. In that case I remove them, no matter what the market “says”.
NewNeedlepoint.com is currently expanding it’s collection of other Needlework books. Included are Cross-Stitch, Glorafilia, Ribbon Stitching, Embroidery, Punchneedle, Bead Stitching, Whitework, Blackwork, Beginner Needlepoint and more.
I will continue to sell selected needlepoint canvases & kits including the work of Patt & Lee Designs, Laurel Burch and more. The Patt & Lee collection of Scrap Thread canvases are a wonderful way to use your extra yarn and thread stash.
The items in the small tools category is also carefully chosen. I only sell tools I have used myself.
NewNeedlepoint.com continues to change while I work to make it as good as it can be. I hope you like what you see.

| The design here is simple, just 3 basic colors are used. This is an original design canvas from Danji Designs.
I have added some Kreinik Metallic White #12 Braided Thread and #12 Silver Braided Thread to the kit, The white can be used to add sparkle to the snow, with individual stitches or drifts and the Silver would add some sparkle to the Penguin's belly.

| Laurel Burch has a wonderful way with colors, she uses these jewel tones to good effect.
This is an original design, hand painted needlepoint Ornament kit I have named it Cat Angel. In looking up it's original invoice I find that Ms Burch named it that too.
The canvas is hand signed by Laurel Burch.

| The designer of this New England Patriots needlepoint lives on Cape Cod, she is fan of Boston Sports, as I am being brought up in Boston).

| Another charming original design from Laurie Korsgaden Design. This pair of snowmen remind me of living in Boston as a kid and building the 2 snowmen, 1 big, 1 small and they were always father & son.
They are against the sky at dusk with a few snowflakes falling and a large golden star above them.

| This is a charming Hand Painted Christmas Tree Ornament showing Santa holding a Fawn in the snow. It is by Laurie Korsgaden Designs and measures 5 inches across. it is 18 mesh.
This ornament design has a very nice "feeling" to it. There is a bird on the left and Santa has a nice smile while holding the curled up Fawn. I know this sounds silly but this is how this design "took" me.

| A very fine 5 inch (measured across) Christmas Tree Ornament canvas from Laurie Korsgaden Designs. This design has been Hand painted on 18 mesh canvas.
Laurie Korsgaden canvas are mostly holiday related, this seems to be her speciality and she does it very well. Her designs are full of color and cheer.

| I think this design is adorable. Trick or Treat is a brand new design from Patt of Patt & Lee Designs.
There are some surprising details in this 3 cats in their Halloween costumes design. The Devil Cat is holding his trident with his tail and the cowboy cat has one paw tucked into his belt, cowboy style.
The design uses 20 colors, I know you can't tell from my picture but the background is a pale silver gray, not white or off-white.
