Newneedlepoint.com is, and I suppose always will be, about my love of Needlepoint. I began my web store with the idea that I would sell the kind of Needlepoint I love to stitch.
I love Color, I admire good design. My goal is to sell the best Needlepoint Designs I can make or buy.
I have just begun to list the first of our own Stitch Painted Original Design Needlepoint Canvases.
I also have an extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Designs, Laurel Burch and Eileen Best.
There are my own Stitch Drawn Lines designs, many of them now Hand Painted in full color.
The Bargello category is open with a few Bargello and Florentine Embroidery Bargello designs. I am adding new patterns & designs as
fast as I can stitch them.
NewNeedlepoint.com has added a Rare & Hard-To-Find Needlepoint & Bargello Book Category. I have put together a group of unusual and interesting books.
I have picked the best condition books I could find, which was not as easy as you might think.
I am still focusing on Beginner and Novice Needlepointers with special Kits aimed at entry level stitchers. I have written a “Beginners Manual” which has all the things I wish someone told me when I was just starting out as well as Basic Needlepoint Instruction.
NewNeedlepoint.com has an extensive line of the excellent Patt & Lee Glicee’ Needlepoint Designs. They are all available as canvas alone plus most are also for sale assembled as a kit.
Claire Sanchez's excellent Tote and Shoulder Bags are stylish and fashionable. The large Tote Bags with Shoulder Length Straps and her slightly smaller Shoulder Bags never look like the sturdy and practical totes they are. The Shoulder Bags also make perfect everyday bags.
There is also my small Needlepoint Tools Category, I don’t sell anything I don’t use myself. That is the best recommendation I can make. That is where you will find DMC & Kreinik Color Cards, as well.
I have made extensive changes, I want to keep NewNeedlepoint.com vital & thriving. I hope you like what you see.

| This wonderful little book has designs taken from the Victoria and Albert Museums's wonderful collection of Needlepoint. Each project is complete with charts and instructions as well as a full color photo.
In addition, each design is set in it's Historical perspective with some background information. This book will allow you to recreate masterpieces from the 17th century to today, from Florentine Stitch furniture to Berlin WoolWork samplers.
I don't know of any other book that ... More Info

| The subtitle to this handsome books is "20 Needlepoint Designs Inspired by Love". Candace Bahouth is a well-known needlepoint designer. Many of her designs are sold as kits by The Hugh Ehrman Needlepoint Co.
These designs are indeed Romantic with a capitol R. The colors are lush and the designs are *soft-edged* and dreamy. The designs in this book are not, mostly, to my taste but that does not mean it is not a wonderful book. There is an exception, a design I really admire on page 113 ... More Info

| Many books use the word "Masterpieces" in their titles, few deserve it. Some do however and this is one of them. This is a collection of excellent needleworks from the Winterthur Musuem. This museum is in Delaware and has the world's finest collection of decorative artefacts (copied that phrase from the dust jacket, love those words).
The museum specializes in things made or used between 1640 and 1860 in what is now the United States of America.
There are 30 needlepoint projects in ... More Info

| A different sort of book from Margaret Boyles. Most of her books are more Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint reference books or workbooks.
This book has designs to stitch and they cover a large range of types of needlepoint and stitchery. There are canvas work needlepoint designs, a number of Bargello Needlepoint designs, there are some designs done on linen and some frankly crewel work designs.
Of course, all are done with Margaret Boyles' excellent instruction and clear graphs and ... More Info

| I love Amish quilts, I love the simplicity of the designs and their amazing use of colors and pattern. I have a few authentic Amish quilts that I not only treasure but that I sleep under as well. I think the best way to enjoy them is to use them.
I was very excited when I saw the name of this book. I think Amish Quilt patterns would translate into exceptional needlepoint designs.
There are 27 designs in this book, drawn from Amish quilts from eastern Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and ... More Info

| Ok, this is a beautiful book. The design of it, the designs in it, everything about it is beautiful (as well as the picture of the author). The subtitle calls it a "Treasury of Over 50 Original Designs".
The designs in this book are representative of the beautys of the English Countryside. Full-color fruits and flowers, plants and trees. Country roads, fields and villages are nicely shown and graphed in full color, which is always a help.
The author, Stafford Whiteaker is a writer and ... More Info

| I know you are supposed to keep the dust jacket with an old book no matter how bad, but this one was just awful. It was bad enough that I did not want to even touch it.
The book under the gross dust jacket is ok, I would call it good (enough) condition but no better then that.
This is an interesting book showing you how to use American Indian (this book is from 1973, I think we would say "Native Americans" now) art and designs as motifs and patterns in needlepoint.
The designs here ... More Info
