Newneedlepoint.com is, and I suppose always will be, about my love of Needlepoint. I began my web store with the idea that I would sell the kind of Needlepoint I love to stitch.
I love Color, I admire good design. My goal is to sell the best Needlepoint Designs I can make or buy.
I have just begun to list the first of our own Stitch Painted Original Design Needlepoint Canvases.
I also have an extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Designs, Laurel Burch and Eileen Best.
There are my own Stitch Drawn Lines designs, many of them now Hand Painted in full color.
The Bargello category is open with a few Bargello and Florentine Embroidery Bargello designs. I am adding new patterns & designs as
fast as I can stitch them.
NewNeedlepoint.com has added a Rare & Hard-To-Find Needlepoint & Bargello Book Category. I have put together a group of unusual and interesting books.
I have picked the best condition books I could find, which was not as easy as you might think.
I am still focusing on Beginner and Novice Needlepointers with special Kits aimed at entry level stitchers. I have written a “Beginners Manual” which has all the things I wish someone told me when I was just starting out as well as Basic Needlepoint Instruction.
NewNeedlepoint.com has an extensive line of the excellent Patt & Lee Glicee’ Needlepoint Designs. They are all available as canvas alone plus most are also for sale assembled as a kit.
Claire Sanchez's excellent Tote and Shoulder Bags are stylish and fashionable. The large Tote Bags with Shoulder Length Straps and her slightly smaller Shoulder Bags never look like the sturdy and practical totes they are. The Shoulder Bags also make perfect everyday bags.
There is also my small Needlepoint Tools Category, I don’t sell anything I don’t use myself. That is the best recommendation I can make. That is where you will find DMC & Kreinik Color Cards, as well.
I have made extensive changes, I want to keep NewNeedlepoint.com vital & thriving. I hope you like what you see.

| This is another of the Margaret Boyles Bargello books I used to teach myself how to do Bargello Needlepoint. The subtitle is: A Collection of Original Designs and it is but it is also a Bargello reference book. This book is in much better condition than it appears to be, looking at the tattered dust jacket.
This book takes you thporugh all the stages of beginning Needlepoint Bargello. Each pattern has a full-color close up picture as well as an easy to follow graph. Even the graphs are ... More Info

| A different sort of book from Margaret Boyles. Most of her books are more Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint reference books or workbooks.
This book has designs to stitch and they cover a large range of types of needlepoint and stitchery. There are canvas work needlepoint designs, a number of Bargello Needlepoint designs, there are some designs done on linen and some frankly crewel work designs.
Of course, all are done with Margaret Boyles' excellent instruction and clear graphs and ... More Info

| There has been more interest in Bargello Needlepoint lately. Most of the Bargello books date from the 1960 and 1970s, with a few more current books out there.
This is a complete introduction Needlepoint Bargello book, it has projects at levels for both the beginner to a more advanced stitcher. There are 30 projects with templates, thread suggestions and finishing ideas.
For someone who has stitches Bargello before the book shows you ways to avoid those nagging problems you may have had ... More Info

| This is another book where the dust cover is pitiful and the book inside is good.
The book is subtitled: Themes and Variations. it has a full chapter on technique and a large assortment of beautiful patterns, all shown in color, with clear graphs on the facing page.
Needlepoint and Patterns has many Bargello Needlepoint patterns as well as Needlepoint.
This is a large, hardcover book published by Macmillan in New York and Collier Macmillan in London in 1974.
There is a ... More Info

| This book, from the Batsford Series on Canvas Work, or Needlepoint, is surprisingly unusual. right from the start, this is a book for an more experienced stitcher.
There are unusual techniques and ideas in this book and quite a bit of Bargello as well. There is ribbon work, mixed media needlepoint, etc. There are some design ideas here that are quite "painterly".
It is not a stitch reference, it is an idea and inspiration book and *inspired* is the word for it. I did not know ... More Info

| I had no idea what I was going to get when I ordered this book. There is so little information out there about these out-of-print books. I had not heard of this book or this author before.
I was wonderfully surprised when this lovely little book arrived in close to perfect condition. Although the author calls this book "Florentine Embroidery" it is really a Bargello Needlepoint Book. it is subtitled "All you need to know for perfect results".
I know there is quite a bit of confusion ... More Info

| If you have read many of the used book listings here you know I taught myself Needlepoint & Bargello Needlepoint from books. This is the #1 book that taught me to stitch, and stitch correctly, Bargello Needlepoint.
Margaret Boyles is a Master Teacher, her directions are concise and clear. her graphs are in full color and good size you don't have to peer at them with a magnifying glass.
I sold my last copy of this I had, to someone in Australia. I had trouble finding anotyher copy, ... More Info

I have 5 copies of this classic Elsa Williams book, Bargello subtitled Florentine Canvas Work. 2 of them are too awful to re-sell (although they were sold to be as "very good").
2 copies are only OK because this is a Hard-To-Get in Good Condition book.
This copy is in wonderful condition, it almost reaches the top used book category of *fine*. It is not in new condition but the dust jacket is very good, the book inside is very good and the pages are 'fine".
