NewNeedlepoint.com has been open almost 2 years now. There have been many changes as I find my “spot” in the on-line needlepoint community.
NewNeedlepoint.com specializes in books, both new and used books. The needlepoint and Bargello Needlepoint book categories are extensive. Many of the books here are rare, some are quite rare and all have reviews I have written.
There are pictures of all the books. I find a picture of the cover sometimes tells you more about a book then any review can.
All the used/rare books have pictures of the book cover or dust jacket plus a picture of the inside pages so you can see the condition of the books for yourself.
I know it is a given in the used book market that you keep the dust jacket, no matter the condition but I find many good or very good condition books inside terrible and dirty dust jackets. In that case I remove them, no matter what the market “says”.
NewNeedlepoint.com is currently expanding it’s collection of other Needlework books. Included are Cross-Stitch, Glorafilia, Ribbon Stitching, Embroidery, Punchneedle, Bead Stitching, Whitework, Blackwork, Beginner Needlepoint and more.
I will continue to sell selected needlepoint canvases & kits including the work of Patt & Lee Designs, Laurel Burch and more. The Patt & Lee collection of Scrap Thread canvases are a wonderful way to use your extra yarn and thread stash.
The items in the small tools category is also carefully chosen. I only sell tools I have used myself.
NewNeedlepoint.com continues to change while I work to make it as good as it can be. I hope you like what you see.

| Poodle & Pup is the newest of Patt's Scrap Threads Needlepoint Canvases.
Scrap Threads Designs are meant to be stitched with whatever you have in your threads stash. Any thread, yarn, floss or anything stitchable can and should be used.
It is a wonderful way to recycle your needlepoint leftovers.
This new design is also unusal for it's black background. I do not know of another Patt & Lee design that has that. Any colors you use for this will glow against the dark background.

| The whole point to the scrap threads idea is to use what you have in your stash. These designs are the perfect way to recycle all the many left over skeins, hanks, cards and whatever you have left over from your needlepoint projects.
Use what ever you have, if it looks right to you it is right. 16 mesh canvas is adaptable, you can use doubled embroidery floss, #8 cotton, #5 size cotton, wool, silk, the list is endless.

| This is a great idea. Patt of Patt and Lee Designs had the idea to design needlepoint canvases to use up the many, many partial skeins of thread, floss or yarn all of us needlepointers always have.
This design, that I am calling Windmills, is the perfect Scrap Threads canvas for anyone who has lots of smaller amounts of left over threads, wools etc. I have not tried to count the number of colors in this designs, there are many.

| I am not sure if I should call this the "companion canvas" to Patt & Lee's wonderful 15 Dogs in 15 Colors canvas, which is also listed here, or call it the Cat Lover's Version.
I think I am going to go with door #2. This is another of Patt's excellent Scrap Thread Designs. As with the similar 15 Dogs design you are absolutely not tied to the colors Patt has used.

| The moment I saw Patt's new Scrap Thread design I know I wanted to call it 15 Dogs 15 Colors. This is a slightly smaller Scrap Thread canvas than usual. The design area measures 7 X 7 inches. The entire canvas is 12 X 12 inches. it is 16 mesh, which has become my favorite mesh size. Not too small, not too big.
Patt & Lee Design canvases are Glicee Original Design Needlepoint. These are superior needlepoint canvases, the edges and the colors are crisp & clean.
