NewNeedlepoint.com has been open almost 2 years now. There have been many changes as I find my “spot” in the on-line needlepoint community.
NewNeedlepoint.com specializes in books, both new and used books. The needlepoint and Bargello Needlepoint book categories are extensive. Many of the books here are rare, some are quite rare and all have reviews I have written.
There are pictures of all the books. I find a picture of the cover sometimes tells you more about a book then any review can.
All the used/rare books have pictures of the book cover or dust jacket plus a picture of the inside pages so you can see the condition of the books for yourself.
I know it is a given in the used book market that you keep the dust jacket, no matter the condition but I find many good or very good condition books inside terrible and dirty dust jackets. In that case I remove them, no matter what the market “says”.
NewNeedlepoint.com is currently expanding it’s collection of other Needlework books. Included are Cross-Stitch, Glorafilia, Ribbon Stitching, Embroidery, Punchneedle, Bead Stitching, Whitework, Blackwork, Beginner Needlepoint and more.
I will continue to sell selected needlepoint canvases & kits including the work of Patt & Lee Designs, Laurel Burch and more. The Patt & Lee collection of Scrap Thread canvases are a wonderful way to use your extra yarn and thread stash.
The items in the small tools category is also carefully chosen. I only sell tools I have used myself.
NewNeedlepoint.com continues to change while I work to make it as good as it can be. I hope you like what you see.

| I sold a 3 of these charming designs last year here on NewNeedlepoint.com. I love this cheerful ornament so I brought it back for this year, as well.

| The designer of this New England Patriots needlepoint lives on Cape Cod, she is fan of Boston Sports, as I am being brought up in Boston).
This is a handsome hand painted medallion measuring 4.25 inches across. It could also be stitched as a Christmas Tree Ornament (we always have a Red Sox ornament on our tree).

| I am only going to list this wonderful needlepoint design as a kit. The colors are specific and important to the design plus the 18 mesh canvas will stitch beautifully with the Anchor & DMC #8 size Perle Cotton Floss in the kit.
This is handsome evocative original design needlepoint from Gail Lang. The colors used are so rich and perfect for the design, I did not change them in any way.

| In New England, where I grew up, the Fuschias are an early spring flower. Every Mother's day I brought my mother one and she hung it from the hook hung from the roof of her tiny front porch just for it.
The house was medium gray with white trim and surrounded with tall pines, the effect was gorgeous.

| I like the simplicity and style of this Alphabet Sampler from Mary Margaret Waldock or perhaps I should say from her studio.
Ms Waldock, 76, died in 2007. Her designs, however, are still charming and current.
This canvas is only available as a kit using DMC #5 Perle Cotton Floss.

The design area is 14 X 13.75 inches. The entire canvas measures 18.75 X 18.24, it is 13 mesh.
I recommend stitching 13 mesh canvas with a thicker type of thread. Use a wool, a #3 floss, #5 floss doubled or a any other substantial type of thread/yarn.

I think it is beautiful, for beginners or not, the colors are lovely. This is a small needlepoint canvas, the design area is 6 X 6 inches.
