NewNeedlepoint.com is a labor of love. I began my web store with the idea that I would build the kind of Needlepoint Web Store where I would like to shop.

I love color and I admire good design. My goal is to sell the best Needlepoint Designs, Books and Accessories I can.

I have a extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases & Kits by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Design, Laurel Burch, Eileen Best and many more.

NewNeedlepoint.com has a large collection of Needlepoint & Bargello Needlepoint Books. Most of the books are Hard-To-Find used books, some are quite Rare. Some of the books are maybe not so rare but are classic Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint Design or Reference Books.

I have picked out the best condition Books I could find, which is not as easy as you might think.

NewNeedlepoint has two new categories: NEW Needlepoint Books & NEW Bargello Books. These are direct from the publisher or distributor current Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint titles by some of today's well-known authors.

There are more to come.

NewNeedlepoint.com specializes in Beginner & Novice Needlepoint Kits and Books. The beginner level Needlepoint Kits are scattered everywhere in my listings as well as having their own category.

The Beginner Books do not…yet…have their own category.

NewNeedlepoint.com has an extensive selection of the excellent Patt & Lee Glicee’ Needlepoint Designs. They are all available as canvas alone plus most are also for sale assembled as a kit.

There is also my small Needlepoint Tools Category. I don’t sell anything I am not familiar with, no Drop Ship here. This is where you will find Mighty Bright lamps, Laying tools, quality Gingher Scissors, DMC or Kreinik Color Cards and more.

NewNeedlepoint.com continues to change as I work to make it as good as it can be. I hope you like what you see.

I have lost count of how many copies of this book I have sold here in the past year. Enough so I now order it in multiples, no more 1 at a time.

Mary Rhodes writes very interesting Needlepoint books for the more experienced stitcher. I have a copy of her Dictionary of Canvas Work Stitches for sale here and it has many wonderful and unusual stitches I have never seen anywhere else.

Mary Rhodes' modern approach to canvas work covers the striking effects achieved through the selective use of varied stitches, textures & colors in needlepoint.

The book also covers design sources, adaptations and materials. The book is clear, concise and full of pictures, mostly B & W but very detailed.

This is indeed a hard-to-find book for a more advanced stitcher.

It is a hardcover book published by B.T. Batsford Limited in London and the Charles T. Branford Co. in Newton, MA. in 1970.

The book is in very good condition. So is the dust jacket and the spine is tight. A previous owner wrote her name on the inside front cover and a previous store wrote a price on the opposite page.

Inside the book is very good. The pages are unmarked and clean. I, without meaning to, took my page picture using the same NP Mrs. Rhodes used on her cover.

The Secrets of Needlepoint: Techniques & Stitches by Dominique Siegler-Lathrop

This is a beautiful book. It is the second edition, it was originally published in France in 1997. Ms. Siegler-Lathrop, who is bi-lingual, has re-worked and translated her book for the English speaking (and reading) needlepoint community. This books suggests a unique technique for stitching needlepoint or canvas embroidery (the same thing, different names). She claims that needlepoint worked using her row-by-row technique will be "reliably perfect . Not only that, but the work ... More Info
