NewNeedlepoint.com is a labor of love. I began my web store with the idea that I would build the kind of Needlepoint Web Store where I would like to shop.
I love color and I admire good design. My goal is to sell the best Needlepoint Designs, Books and Accessories I can.
I have a extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases & Kits by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Design, Laurel Burch, Eileen Best and many more.
NewNeedlepoint.com has a large collection of Needlepoint & Bargello Needlepoint Books. Most of the books are Hard-To-Find used books, some are quite Rare. Some of the books are maybe not so rare but are classic Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint Design or Reference Books.
I have picked out the best condition Books I could find, which is not as easy as you might think.

The Beginner Books do not…yet…have their own category.

Beginner's Bee & Flower Hand Painted Needlepoint Kit

The colors in this adorable Needlepoint Kit are wonderful, warm and vibrant. The Bee sits happily on his fuschia flower. This is a great beginner or novice level needlepoint project. it is Hand Painted on 14 mesh, easy to stitch, canvas by Jane Wheeler. The design area is 6 X 6 , the entire canvas measures 10 X 10 inches. it is 14 mesh.

I have assembled this kit using DMC #5 Perle Cotton Floss. I have included enough black floss (not pictured) for the pistals in the center of the flower and to outline the design, as shown on the canvas but it is not necessary to do this to the entire canvas. I do recommend outlining the bee, but the flower is your choice. It can be outlined or not.

This design should be stitched with one strand of the #5 floss. Your kit will include a color placement chart and complete directions plus the web site address of some of my favorite basic needlepoint instructions and decorative stitch sites. Some of the simpler decorative stitches can be used for the flower petals and the background. It is up to you.

This Stitch Painted needlepoint canvas is suitable for beginners, . A color placement stitch guide comes with it plus it will include detailed and complete directions as well as my pretty good basic needlepoint instruction booklet.

Experienced stitchers should feel free to ignore them.

All NewNeedlepoint canvases have folded and machine hemmed edges or carefully taped canvases edges. I prefer to hem them when there is enough extra canvas to permit it.

Each kit includes the correct size needle for this canvas.

The amounts of floss or yarn shown in the pictures are for color only, the actual amounts sent may vary from what is shown. The colors will not vary.

Needlepoint thread coverage is not an exact science. I try to make sure there is plenty to finish each canvas with some to spare. If you run short e-mail me and I will send you more at no extra cost.

Remember to stitch 2-3 additional lines all around the completed canvas for finishing.
