NewNeedlepoint.com is a labor of love. I began my web store with the idea that I would build the kind of Needlepoint Web Store where I would like to shop.

I love color and I admire good design. My goal is to sell the best Needlepoint Designs, Books and Accessories I can.

I have a extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases & Kits by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Design, Laurel Burch, Eileen Best and many more.

NewNeedlepoint.com has a large collection of Needlepoint & Bargello Needlepoint Books. Most of the books are Hard-To-Find used books, some are quite Rare. Some of the books are maybe not so rare but are classic Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint Design or Reference Books.

I have picked out the best condition Books I could find, which is not as easy as you might think.

NewNeedlepoint's Hand Painted Roses Needlepoint Kit

An original design, stitch painted needlepoint canvas designed by us, NewNeedlepoint.com. This is a collage of Roses, there are 11 of them in 3 different sizes. The design area is 11.5 X 11.5 inches. The entire canvas is 15.25 X 15.5 inches, it is 16 mesh.

There are 4 rose colors used in this design, ranging from deep rose pink to rose pink, to light rose pink to pale pink.

Each rose uses 4 shades of the color, each in a slightly different way. No 2 roses are exactly alike. The center or pistil of each rose is painted with a medium yellow. I was not sure what shade of yellow or gold I wanted that to be, so I had my husband (the painter, I am the designer) do it in a light color.

I have assembled this kit using DMC #5 Perle Cotton Floss. It should be stitched with a single strand of floss. The #5 Perle cotton will stitch up giving each rose clean, defined edges and a slight sheen. I have picked colors ranging from deep rose pink, to light pink. The center of each flower will be a very nice shade of medium dark yellow.

The outlines are, of course, black and the background is a lovely ultra pale cream color. It will set off these colors wonderfully.



The Roses Collage Kit will not include a color placement stitch guide, it is clear from the painted colors on the canvas where each color goes on each rose. it will include detailed instructions, specific to this design.

Since the colors are specific this needlepoint canvas is only offered as a kit.

NewNeedlepoint.com's original design needlepoint canvases are all hand drawn on Zweigart 100% cotton white mono needlepoint canvas.

All NewNeedlepoint canvases have folded and machine hemmed edges or carefully taped canvases edges. I prefer to hem them when there is enough extra canvas to permit it.

Each kit includes the correct size needle for this canvas.

The amounts of floss or yarn shown in the pictures are for color only, the actual amounts sent will vary from what is shown. The colors will not. There will be, of course, a lot more than this.

Needlepoint thread coverage is not an exact science. I try to make sure there is plenty to finish each canvas with some to spare. If you run short e-mail me and I will send you more at no extra cost.

Remember to stitch 2-3 additional lines all around the completed canvas for finishing.
