NewNeedlepoint.com is a labor of love. I began my web store with the idea that I would build the kind of Needlepoint Web Store where I would like to shop.

I have a extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases & Kits by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Design, Laurel Burch, Eileen Best and many more.

NewNeedlepoint.com has a large collection of Needlepoint & Bargello Needlepoint Books. Most of the books are Hard-To-Find used books, some are quite Rare. Some of the books are maybe not so rare but are classic Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint Design or Reference Books.

I have picked out the best condition Books I could find, which is not as easy as you might think.

NewNeedlepoint has two new categories: NEW Needlepoint Books & NEW Bargello Books. These are direct from the publisher or distributor current Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint titles by some of today's well-known authors.

The Beginner Books do not…yet…have their own category.

NewNeedlepoint.com has an extensive selection of the excellent Patt & Lee Glicee’ Needlepoint Designs. They are all available as canvas alone plus most are also for sale assembled as a kit.

Claire Sanchez's fine Tote Bags and Shoulder Bags are both very stylish and very practical. The large Tote Bags with shoulder length straps and her slightly smaller Shoulder Bags never look like the sturdy and useful totes they are. The Shoulder Bags are also the perfect everyday bag.

Joyous Heart Kanji Needlepoint Canvas with Stitch Guide

The Kanji symbol representing the phrase Joyous Heart was hard to find, there were many variations of love, but a Kanji saying just this took some searching. This is, however, exactly what I wanted to say. This is an Original NewNeedlepoint Design Needlepoint canvas. it has been carefully stitch drawn and includes a Stitch Guide.

The design area can be as large as 11 X 11 inches or as small as 9 X 9 inches, that is up to you. The entire canvas measures 15.50 X 14.25 inches, it is 18 mesh.

The Stitch Guide uses 5 colors, alone or in combinations plus I have specified Kreinik Black Metallic Braid Thread for the Kanji. There are 5 decorative stitches used plus Tent Stitch & Basketweave Stitch.

The stitches shown in the stitch guide are graphed and include complete directions.

The canvas & stitch guide does not include any threads or yarn.

All NewNeedlepoint canvases have folded and machine hemmed edges or carefully taped canvases edges. I prefer to hem them when there is enough extra canvas to permit it.

Each canvas includes a correct size needle.

Remember to stitch 2-3 additional lines all around the completed canvas for finishing.
