NewNeedlepoint.com is a labor of love. I began my web store with the idea that I would build the kind of Needlepoint Web Store where I would like to shop.

I love color and I admire good design. My goal is to sell the best Needlepoint Designs, Books and Accessories I can.

I have a extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases & Kits by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Design, Laurel Burch, Eileen Best and many more.

NewNeedlepoint.com has a large collection of Needlepoint & Bargello Needlepoint Books. Most of the books are Hard-To-Find used books, some are quite Rare. Some of the books are maybe not so rare but are classic Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint Design or Reference Books.

I have picked out the best condition Books I could find, which is not as easy as you might think.

NewNeedlepoint.com has an extensive selection of the excellent Patt & Lee Glicee’ Needlepoint Designs. They are all available as canvas alone plus most are also for sale assembled as a kit.

Claire Sanchez's fine Tote Bags and Shoulder Bags are both very stylish and very practical. The large Tote Bags with shoulder length straps and her slightly smaller Shoulder Bags never look like the sturdy and useful totes they are. The Shoulder Bags are also the perfect everyday bag.

Patt of Patt and Lee Designs had the idea to design needlepoint canvases to use up the many, many partial skeins of thread, floss or yarn all of us needlepointers always have.

The Graphic needlepoint canvases design area is 8.75 X 9 inches. The entire canvas is 12.25 X 12.25, it is 14 mesh.

It is always risky to use a leftover fiber for a new needlepoint project, you don't know if you have enough and if you buy more, there is always the dye lot issue.

These Scrap Thread needlepoint canvases are a perfect and perfectly beautiful way to use an otherwise wasted resource.

To quote Patt " Get out those skeins and just GO FOR IT. If you see a blue in the design, use the blue you have on hand and so on...."

The Patt & Lee Designs needlepoint canvases are Giclee Original Design Needlepoint. These are superior needlepoint canvases, the edges and the colors are crisp & clean.

This is a handsome graphic design. Patt's use of color is, as always, excellent but the point of these Scrap Thread canvases is to use what you have, not to follow the colors as shown on the canvas. 14 mesh canvas is the most versatile of all the meshes, you can use almost anything to stitch it and mix your threads up. This should be fun.

You could remain in the same or similar color families or change all the colors. The only thing to remember is to always use the same substituted color where ever the original color you switched it for is used. Otherwise you will lose the pattern.

This canvas does not include any threads or yarn.

All NewNeedlepoint canvases have folded and machine hemmed edges or carefully taped canvases edges. I prefer to hem them when there is enough extra canvas to permit it.

Each canvas includes a correct size needle.

Remember to stitch 2-3 additional lines all around the completed canvas for finishing.

Large needlepoint canvases will be rolled and sent in a mailing tube, smaller canvases will be sent flat in a padded envelope. I do not offer finishing services.
