NewNeedlepoint.com is a labor of love. I began my web store with the idea that I would build the kind of Needlepoint Web Store where I would like to shop.
I love color and I admire good design. My goal is to sell the best Needlepoint Designs, Books and Accessories I can.
I have a extensive selection of wonderful Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases & Kits by some of today’s fine Needlepoint Designers including Danji Design, Laurel Burch, Eileen Best and many more.
NewNeedlepoint.com has a large collection of Needlepoint & Bargello Needlepoint Books. Most of the books are Hard-To-Find used books, some are quite Rare. Some of the books are maybe not so rare but are classic Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint Design or Reference Books.
I have picked out the best condition Books I could find, which is not as easy as you might think.
NewNeedlepoint has two new categories: NEW Needlepoint Books & NEW Bargello Books. These are direct from the publisher or distributor current Needlepoint or Bargello Needlepoint titles by some of today's well-known authors.

NewNeedlepoint.com specializes in Beginner & Novice Needlepoint Kits and Books. The beginner level Needlepoint Kits are scattered everywhere in my listings as well as having their own category.
The Beginner Books do not…yet…have their own category.
NewNeedlepoint.com has an extensive selection of the excellent Patt & Lee Glicee’ Needlepoint Designs. They are all available as canvas alone plus most are also for sale assembled as a kit.

Scrap Threads Stripe Cats Needlepoint Canvas

I love this design. This is one of Patt & Lee's most popular designs and it is easy to see why.

This is a Scrap Threads Design. It is designed to be stitched with whatever you have in your threads stash. Any thread, yarn, floss or anything stitchable can and should be used.

It is not necessary to follow the exact colors used, this is the perfect way to "recycle" the many end skeins, hanks, cards and all the misc. stuff you have sitting around waiting to be used.

The design area is 11.75 X 8.75 inches. The entire canvas measures 16 X 13 inches. It is 18 mesh.

This is the second version of this design. It is changed by the addition of a white single stitch surround for the Cats. I was surprised by how much this small change affected the design. It seems to have brightened all the colors on the Cats. The picture below is stitched by Patt, she uses 63 different stitches.

Patt & Lee Design canvases are Glicee Original Design Needlepoint. These are superior needlepoint canvases, the edges and the colors are crisp & clean.

This canvas does not include any threads or yarn.

All NewNeedlepoint canvases have folded and machine hemmed edges or carefully taped canvases edges. I prefer to hem them when there is enough extra canvas to permit it.

Each canvas includes a correct size needle.

Remember to stitch 2-3 additional rows all around the completed canvas for finishing.
