I originally bought this book for myself. I love to do borders and corners on the needlepoint and especially the Bargello Needlepoint I stitch. The problem is, I am bad at corners. I rarely get them right on the first try (or 2nd or....)
This book was a big help to me. The subtitle is:
104 Designs For Cross Stitch, Needlepoint, Latch Hooking etc.
In fact, in researching it I find that there are no contemporary, in print books addressing this. The only books on borders and corners are out of print. I have one other for sale here. (Creative Needlepoint Borders by Maggie Wall)
The back cover goes on to say that these designs are charted, ready to be used for Counted Cross Stitch, Crochet and Knitting as well.
In addition to the charts, the author has added color selection hints, suggestions for varying the designs for added effect and working frames and corner patterns.
The charts are in black and white however nine of them are shown in full color on the inside covers as well as the back & front.
This is an original Dover Publication from 1981. Charted Borders, Band and Corners is a glossy cover paperbound book with 48 pages.
This book is in very good condition. The pages are slightly yellowed. The stapled spine is solid.
