Barbara Muller is the author of one of the best of the Bargello Needlepoint books, Florentine Embroidery, which is now out of print in the English Language edition.
First published in 1987, this edition of Kreuzstich Alphabete is dated 1995. The book is written in German however, there is almost no text in this book, aside from the introduction. This is a new book. It did not come with a dust jacket.
What there is, is alphabets, many and very varied alphabets. Numbers too. They are done in 2 and 3 color graphs, each graph is page size and easy to read.
There are full color pictures of some of the letters and numbers stitched with a few motifs added, to give you ideas on how to use the letters.
I did not count the number of different alphabets in the book, there is 93 pages of them including the color photographs.
German language or not, this is a interesting and creative lettering book.
Kreuzstich Alphabete was originally published in 1987 by Rosenheimer Ve4rlaghaus GmbH & Co. This edition published in1995.
This is a glossy cover hard bound book, it did not come with a dust jacket.
