I have sold these books separately for years now. It never occured to me that they would make an excellent set of books until I saw them being offered that way on the rare book market.
The seller also claimed that they were in Very Good condition. That is rare. Paperbound books from the 1970s are often quite "used* Thiese books, which are the perfect size to be carried by stitchers in their tote bags especially so.
I was surprised to see the 3 of them are, indeed, in the condition the seller claimed.
Included in this set:
Guide to Upright Stitches
Guide to Slanted Stitches
Guide to Combination Stitches
Guide to looped and Knotted Stitches.
These are often considered, except for the Looped and Knotted Stitches, as just Bargello Stitches but they have many other uses in needlepoint and needlework.
Mira Silverstein is a well-knoiwn needlepoint author and this set of books is a great addition to any stitcher's collection.
4 glossy cover paperbound books, measuring 9 X 6 inches each. They range from 107 to 127 pages. Published by David McKay Co. in 1977.
As I said, except for some very slight wear at the corners, these are all in Very Good Condition. As you can see, the spines are tight. All 4 will ship for the same $3.50 as a single book.
Below is a representative insde page from one of the books.
