The subtitle for this interesting book is:
120 Contemporary Designs Fort Cross Stitch and Needlepoint.
So many of the current Alphabet books are based on historic designs andf lettering, it is nice to see a book with a more miodern take. Plus, numbers are very rare among these books. You wouldn't think this was so but it is.
Stitch Alphabets and Numbers begins with some basics, materials needed, basic designs and how to approach it all.
The alphabets in this book are truly unique. I bought this book signt unseen (as always) and was very pleased, all the way to astounded when I saw the designs in here.
All of the alphabets shown are in full color, done in Charts with Color Charts and Stitch Guides This is not a beginner or novice stitcher's book but you do not need more then moderate stitching skills to work these designs.
Again, they are really something.
This is a glossy cover paperbound book published by David and Charles in 2014.
It is in excellent, almost new book condition
