Jane Zimmerman needlepoint books are interresting. I am not sure how ell known this author is but here books are wonderful.
This is the revised edition, the first book was called An Encyclopedia of 267 Needlepoint Stitch Variation in 1972.
This revised edition, with the additional 108 stitches was published in 1973.
The stitch graphs are large, in balck & white and surprisingly easy to understand. There is not much description but what there is is "straight talk", telling you about the stitch and some of her experiences/reations to it.
Now, here's the downside. Jane Zimmerman books are self-published, that was not too common in the early 1970s. They are bound with light "craft" paper covers using wide ring plastic binding. The pages do not age well, they arew quite yellowed by age but fine in every other way.
These books are often quite worn, they mostly do not age well but this one is in surprisngly good condition. The edges are very slightly worn and the pages are yellowed but the binding is perfect.
The previous owner but a name sticker on the first page, we should thank her fpr taking such good care of this book.
With 118 pages and a full index.
