This is another of the excellent needlework book from Sally Milner Publishing, The Milner Craft Series.
Helen Dafter is an acknowledged expert on Silk Ribbonwork. She is also the author of The Little Book of Silk Ribbon Flowers, Floral Interpretations for Silk Ribbon, and Silk Ribbon Embroidery: A Workshop Approach For Beginners,
Quoting (and paraphrasing a bit) from the back cover
"Using silk ribbon embriodery, Helen Darter has captured the perfect colors and formations of the flowers, trees, and shrubs that she loves. The realism of her designs is renarkable, brought about by the way she has carefully observed the plants and color matched silks against the growingflowers and plants in her garden.""The book contains a full range of projects from brooches, hair clasps, and beautiful bags. Plus the glorious garden landscapes. With these landscapes Helen has painted pale wash backgrounds on the fabric before stitching."
All the stitches are full applicable top Needlepoint but it might be better to stitch the backgrounds on canvas rater then paint them (my own opinion).
In looking through the book, I see that each poroject has a full color picture of it stitches. The designs are shown in template which can be easily re0sized. Each has ribbon size & color use placement instructions as well as "sewing notes" and the order of the work.
Helen Dafter suggests you read the Requirments section before you begin.

Garden Landscapes in Silk Ribbon Embroidery is in Very Good condition. There is some slight wear & bending on the edges of the covers. No rips or tears. The pages inside are excellent. The spine is tight. A nice clean copy.
