Laurel Burch Angel Cat Ornament Needlepoint Kit

Laurel Burch has a wonderful way with colors, she uses these jewel tones to good effect. This is an original design, hand painted needlepoint Ornament kit I have named it Cat Angel. In looking up it's original invoice I find that Ms Burch named it that too. The canvas is hand signed by Laurel Burch. Cat Angel is a circle measuring 5 inches across and 5.75 inches tall with the tree hanger thingie on it. The entire canvas is 8.5 X 9 inches. it is 18 mesh. I have assembled this kit using DMC and Anchor #8 Perle Cotton Floss. This size floss is wonderful for stitching 18 mesh canvas. I have also used Kreinik #13 Gold Metallic Braid Thread for the gold highlights. That too is a slightly smaller thread than is used on larger mesh canvases. The #8 Perle Cotton balls are the equal of 2 skeins of floss. There are 13 colors in this design. All NewNeedlepoint canvases have folded and machine hemmed edges or carefully taped canvases edges. Hand Painted Christmas Tree in the Snow Needlepoint Ornament Kit

This was such a popular needlepoint kit last year that I ordered more and have listed it again. I usually like to have new things to replace the canvases & kits that sell but I really like this design too so.. This is a hand painted original design by Christine Saunders. While it appears to be a simple design, it really is more complex than it looks. There are 9 colors in this design. 11 colors if you count the white and silver Kreinik #12 size Metallic Braid Thread I have included to add the sparkle to the snow. The design area is 4.25 inches across. The entire canvas measures 8 X 8 inches. It is 18 mesh. I have also used the Kreinik Metallic threads for the gold, red and blue ornaments on the tree. #12 Kreinik Metallic is a smaller thread then the usual which is used on the larger mesh canvases. It stitches more easily on the 18 mesh canvas. The same is true of the DMC and Anchor #8 Perle Cotton Floss I have used in this kit. Each ball of #8 floss is equal to 2 skeins of floss, so you will have way more then enough to stitch this. One strand of floss or braid thread should be used. American Heart Hand Painted Needlepoint Kit

A simple but perfect Patriotic American needlepoint design, this handsome American Heart canvas could be stitched as a 4th of July project or an anytime warm-hearted American design. American Heart is a hand painted original design by Jane Wheeler. I sold this canvas here last year but I wanted to get another one when I ordered again. This design "speaks" to me. The design here is simple, just 3 basic colors are used. This is an original design canvas from Danji Designs. I have added some Kreinik Metallic White #12 Braided Thread and #12 Silver Braided Thread to the kit, The white can be used to add sparkle to the snow, with individual stitches or drifts and the Silver would add some sparkle to the Penguin's belly. I suggest using the Silver in individual random stitches for that. In fact, if you do do random single stitches, it is best to do them before you stitch the rest of the area. This kit would be good for a beginner, it can be stitched using plain stitches or simple decorative stitches. A more advanced stitcher might like to dress this up with fancy decorative stitches. Santa & Fawn Ornament Needlepoint Kit

This is a charming Hand Painted Christmas Tree Ornament showing Santa holding a Fawn in the snow. It is by Laurie Korsgaden Designs and measures 5 inches across. it is 18 mesh. This ornament design has a very nice "feeling" to it. There is a bird on the left and Santa has a nice smile while holding the curled up Fawn. I know this sounds silly but this is how this design "took" me. I have assembled this kit using DMC and Anchor #8 Perle Cotton Floss. A very fine 5 inch (measured across) Christmas Tree Ornament canvas from Laurie Korsgaden Designs. This design has been Hand painted on 18 mesh canvas.
