If your looking for Needlepoint talk, visit our blog and find interesting topics and helpful tips.
This spring NewNeedlepoint.com will have the 12th anniversary of it’s opening. It is a very different store from the one I first had. That version had no books in it at all. Now it is (mostly) all books.
I have added “Needlepoint Knowledge” just below my store logo. That exactly describes what I am selling.
Needlework books have evolved over the years, we now have bestsellers and book series from increasingly well-known authors. Many excellent recent books on the many variations and techniques of needlework.
There has been a tremendous interest in books about Finishing Needlepoint. I stock what I hope are the best of these books as I find them (and the search goes on).
What touches me most deeply are the many incredible older and out-of- print needlework books. Many of them are unique, with nothing currently being published in their areas of expertise. The design, techniques, and instructions in these books are irreplaceable.
These wonderful books are being forgotten. I think this is terrible and work to find them, restore them (if damaged) and introduce them to you.
I have a small stock of very rare and hard-to-find books. All my used and rare books are priced according to what they cost me to acquire them.
Thank you to all my customers and friends as NewNeedlepoint.com and I keep on keeping on (and that reflects my age).
