If your looking for Needlepoint talk, visit our blog and find interesting topics and helpful tips.
Subtitled:
30 Exotic Designs from Persia, India, Korea, China and Japan.
Gay Ann Rogers is the author of several very interesting and hard-to-find Needlepoint books. While this topic, Designs From Asia, is not unique, her designs are unusual. A few of the designs in this book look familiar, most of them are "off the beaten path", needlepoint design wise.
The graphs are in Black and White and include color placement symbols. There are many color pictures. The chapters are very complete, all the aspects of needlepoint are covered. In the back of the book is a glossary of stitches and an alphabet graphed for stitching.
I have not had this book for sale here in a long time. Every so often I would find a copy and buy it. It was always in horrible condition, unsalable (by me, anyway, but they would be sold to me, sight unseen and listed as VG).
Published in 1983.
I have this book in the paperbound edition. It is somewhere between Good and Very Good in condition. The cover and its edges are worn and slightly bent. The pages inside are Very Good, just slightly yellowed by age. The spine is tight.
I have used tape to strengthen a few places on the cover, it does not show up in my picture, but you can see it in person. It is mostly down the spine edges.
This is a picture of the current copy of this book.
