There are 10 rug designs, they all have expanded graphs, clear directions and thread color lists. There are sections on everything else you need to know to stitch a needlepoint rug including finishing, which is different from regular needlepoint finishing.

Maggie Lane was raised in China, and you can see how she loves Chinese Art and design.

There are full color pictures of each of the rugs in the center of the book.
