The author is a long time needlepointer and genuine cat-lover. So am I, so it is no surprise that I have this book for sale here.
The Needlepoint Cat has 24 original designs and patterns for Cat Needlepoint projects. They range in difficulty from beginner level to very detailed designs for advanced stitchers.
Included is information on how to capture your own cat's *essense* by adapating one of the designs to your pets features and colors.
The graphs and color placement drawings in this book are very well done. The instructions are complete and detailed, each cat needlepoint is shown in color, as well. There are thread amounts and suggestions, in short, everything you need to know is covered in this book.
This is a good NP cat book, it looks like the designs would be fun to stitch
The Needlepoint Cat is a large hardcover book, it has 85 pages. It was published by Van Nostrand Reinhold Co in 1983.
This copy of the Needlepoint Cat is in very good condition. It is a former library book so the book and dust jacket were protected by their plastic sleeve. The cover and dust jacket are fine but I wanted to show you one of the cat designs from inside the book.
I don't think the cover photo is the best design in this book, not even close.
There are the usual library book markings, The residue of the terrible tape they use to secure the sleeve on the front and back hard covers outside and inside. The library card on the inside back cover as well as a few "discarded" stamps and a sticker inside the back cover and on the dust jacket at the spine. You would think libraries would have more respect for books than to "clutter" them up this way.
It is from The Dobbs Ferry Public Library in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
