This unusual book is subtitled: An International Collection. It has 63 needlepoint projects based on woven designs. They are mostly graphic designs and I think they are wonderful (but I love graphic design).
It is more of a workbook than a design inspiration book. Sally Nicoletti is an experienced needlepointer and author of other books on needlepoint. Her Japanese Motifs For Needlepoint is also available here
My bibliography gives this book a D for difficulty, which is it's highest level. I recommend this book for experienced or advanced stitchers.
The patterns in this book are from many sources. including Museum Textiles from all over the world. These cover a number of years, they are not all contemporary.
There are easy to use graphs, 32 full-color pictures and 80 B and W pictures of the finished projects.
This is a large hardcover book published byWilliam Morrow and Company in 1978. it has 182 pages.
Weaving Designs for Needlepoint is in very good condition. A previous owner has put a light plastic cover over the dust jacket, thus preserving it
