If your looking for Needlepoint talk, visit our blog and find interesting topics and helpful tips.
At first I thought this was a book of needlepoint designs featuring Walt Disney wonderful characters, it is and it isn't.
The book does feature full size, in varying sizes, patterns to stitch Disney cartoon characters but they idea is you place them in whatever designs or settings you want. The designs the book does offer are basic, at best.
These are no Needlepoint Graphs , they are line drawings of the characters you can copy to canvas and stitch. The only directions are simple colors and amounts (done by the ounce)
The full size drawings were provided by the Walt Disney Co. artists, so they are not needlepoint ready.
Still, my bibliography calls this an A difficulty level book which means it is suitable for beginners and on.
If you are looking to add an authentic Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy or more to a needlepoint this is the pattern book you need.
This is a large hardcover book. it was published by Random House in 1976. it has 28 designs.
The book is in very good condition. I don't know if it came with a paper dust jacket, it does not have one now and the cover is very nice as it is.
The pages are very good. The spine is not as tight as I might like but there are no loose of falling pages.
I don't know if you can tell from my page picture but the Duck Family on the left is needlepointed.
