Needlepoint Bargello is another wonderful Bargello and 4-way Bargello Book by Dorothy Kaestner. This book has 25 entirely new 4-Way Bargello Patterns. Each has a chart and a full color picture of the finished piece. The book also includes 32 "regular" Bargello designs as well as something unusual.
All this time I have been selling this book and I have sold many copies of it, I thought the book's name was Bargello Needlepoint. It isn't. The title is Needlepoint Bargello. If it wasn't so silly a mistake, I might be embarrassed. I'm not, not really.
As this excellent book becomes rare it is also getting much more expensive. This is bad news for all of us Bargello lovers.
Needlepoint Bargello's chapter 7 has 5 Snowflake designs and a paperweight design done in Tent Stitch 4-Way Bargello. I have never seen anything like this in any of my other Bargello books. I have this book in my own Bargello Book Collection. I have not yet stitched one of these unique designs. I have good intentions but not enough time (sound familiar?).
The photographs in this book are taken by George F. Kaestner. It was published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1974.
Needlepoint Bargello has 136 pages.
I have this book in stock in both hardcover & paperbound editions. The book is exactly the same, just the binding is different. I will send you the best condition copy I have in stock. It may be hardcover or it may be paperbound but it will the best one I have at the time of your order.
