When I ordered this book, I did not know what it's specific contents were. I rarely know more then a short blurb from the publisher and a picture of the cover.

The Simple Art of Ribbon Design is in some ways similar to the book The A-Z of Silk Ribbon Flowers I listed earlier today. Similar but different.

There are Silk Ribbon Flower instructions here but the book goes a step further. It shows you how to use them in actual ways. You will find clear instruction on using your flowers as Ribbon Flower Corsages, as a bouquet, on a hat, a Basket of Flowers Tote or pouch with a shoulder strap.

Holiday Ornaments, Wreaths and decorations for the table.

This book is suitable for beginners, giving step-by-step instructions for making these 8 beautiful flowers. Included are lists of supplies needed in general and for each specific project. Each Project has an assigned skill lovel , as well.

There is a whole section on Finishing too. Plus a directory of sources and a full index. All the pictures are in full color.

In looking this book over, I can see, as someone who know very little about Silk Ribbon Flowers (but would love to learn) that I could follow this book easily and with confusion. That is always my goal in an instruction book.
