This is a gorgeous little book with some fine examples of stitched Ribbon Flowers. The book measures just 6 X 6.5 inches and the projects in it seem small, the size could easily be increased when they are stitched.
The author, Helen Dafter, is the author of many other books in RibbonWork for the excellent Milner Series of Stitchery book published by Sally Milner in Australia.
I list another of her books here, as well.
The book includes complete direction to stitch, including threads & ribbons needed, easy too follow directions and a full color picture of the template and the finished flowers.
The flowers here are:
Anemones
Arum Lillies
Bluebells
Climbing Briar Rose
Daisies
Foxgloves
Geranium
Gerberas
Grape Hyacinths
Forget Me Nots
Hydrangeas
Iris
Lavender & Salvia
Perennial Statice
Rose-Bush
Rose-Standard
Snowdrops
Viola Tricolor & Violets
Wisteria
The book begins with the basics, then goes into the individual flower projects. There is a basic stitch glossary at the ends
Published by Sally Milner Publications in 1999. The Little Book of Silk Ribbon Flowers is a hard cover book with 48 pages.
