This is a handsome book but it is not for beginner's. Each design is graphed out so it is suitable for Needlepoint or counted thread work. The color use is spectacular.

There are thread guides based on UK yarns & threads and a few pages of basic stitches but again, this is not a beginner's book. It would suit a moderately or advanced stitcher who loves English Gardens. There is even a Sampler Alphabet graphed page.
