Canvas Embroidery starts at the beginning, with basic skills & stitches described in detail with clear step-by-step drawings & photographs. This book would be suitable for a beginner or someone still learning to stitch.
Looking through this book, I agree that it is laid out in an easy to follow sequence. Someone with no previous needlepoint experience could begin with this book.
I want to mention that the graphs & charts are very detailed and clear.
The examples and projects shown are modern in feeling, quite artistic, really. I found many of them unusual & interesting. They made me want to pick up a needle and get stitching.

Canvas Embroidery was, as I thought, published in the UK by Merehurst Ltd in 1990. It is a hard cover book with 127 pages.
The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket, the book itself are very good. Not new looking, clearly this is a vintage book, but well kept.
