Ornamental Letters is a little different from most of the letter & mongram books currently in print. These are Illuminated Letters. Each letter is shown in a design featuring animals, plants, flowers, people, graphics & more. There are also some very stylized letter forms.

This is an english language book. I don't recoment this book to a beginning stitcher but anyone with moderate experience will be able to graph & stitch these amazing designs and concepts.
The letters are designed in the following motifs, in chapters titled: Flowera, Leaves & Branches, The Animal Kingdom, Stylized Initials, & Monograms.
There is a Glossary with explantions of specialized terms and names.
