This is a new edition of Ann Benson's wonderful book, Beadweaving. First published in 2004. I don't know how much revised the book is but any book on Beadwork by Ann Benson is a good book.
She is also the author of Beadpoint, Beadweaving for the First Time for beginners and Classic Beadweaving (that I don't YET list here).
Quoting (and paraphrasing) from the inside dust jacket flap
"Surface Beading is easy, versatile and holds it's shape without elaborate finishing. The tools you'll need include needles, wire cutters and clasps"
The book includes designs worked from charts in horizontal rows so color placement is precise and accurate. This would be an excellent way of augmenting or embellishing your needlework
In looking through the book I see that all the charts are in full color and clear enough so that even a *chart moron* like me can understand them. There are wonderful projects here including a bridal bag, a wonderful gift for a bride-to-be.
The book covers loom bead weaving and needle weaving. Some of the color use here is extraordinary.
The New Beadweaving is a hard cover coffee table size book. Originally published by Sterling in 2004, there is no information on when this edition was released. It has 128 pages
