I am finding these needlepoint and embroidery design books in French to be excellent. The designs are original and well done and I don't find the lack of the English language to be much of a barrier.
While many of them have measurements in both inches and metric, this one's measureing is in metric. That is easy enough to translate with any search engine, if you are not familar with them.
The charts for these designs are clear and in full color with color keys for each.
The designs are:
Lys, Arums & Orchidees-Lilys-Arums-Orchids 3 separate designs done with matching backgrounds
This one is interesting Pensees translates to thoughts but it is for Pansies. in 3 different designs and colors
Coq-Chicken, of course
Herisson-Hedgehog, side and top view
Tortue-Tortoise shown as a door stop
Fox-Terriers, the dog, 2 poses with plaid backgrounds
Ot6arie, Elephant, et Singe de Cirtque-Sea Lion, Elephant, and Monkey in the Circus. # small canvases mounted in a frame, wonderful for a child's room
Insectes- Insects, 3 different bug designs to be used as key rings, pin cushions, etc.
