Ann Benson is a very well known teacher and writer on beading and Beadwork. Her book Beadpoint is still being published and is available here in my New Book category Beadwork.

This is her basic, beginner's instruction manual and as someone who does not know much (or anything) about bead embroidery or bead stringing or anything, I was able to look at her book and judge is as, indeed, a beginner.

She begins with the basics and then the book is formatted as a series of *How Do I* questions. 

It does contain some bead embroidery, not much but some and some of what I can only call Needle Painting with Beads. There is bead weaving and bead stringing, all of it clearly taught and explained.

While it may not be specific to stitching, the basic of how to work with beads are here. This book is a very good beginner's first step.

Published by Sterling Publishing, a Sterling/Chapelle book in 2001. This is a hardcover book with112 pages and a complete index.    It has gotten more expensive since the last time I ordered it.

This book is in Very Good condition. The pages are clear and unmarked. The dust jacket is worn at the edges but no rips or other issues.
